Ride A-4 Snowboard Bindings; An Epic Journey Through The Resort

This year Ride has completely overhauled and streamlined their snowboard binding line. Ride A-4 Snowboard Bindings are the base binding for all mountain performance and value. While Ride has more expensive bindings with a lot of bells and whistles. The Ride A-4 is sleek and made for high performance.

It’s also great on your wallet.

The particular bindings are great for all mountain riding whether you’re in the resort or the back country, they’ll get the job done.

They have a super responsive and light weight high back (very reminiscent of the old Capo Models) and are built to be sleek and light.

If you’ve read any of my other blog posts, you know I love ride, and I can’t wait to take a pair of these for a ride on the mountain.

Ride A-4 Specs:

  • Sizes: Medium/Large (This can accommodate most shoe sizes)
  • Colors: Black/Grey
  • Binding Chassis: A-Series Aluminum (built from the Capo and Rodeo designs of old)
  • Binding Foot Bed: Canted (These are the most comfortable footbeds ever!!! My favorite ones have yet to wear out after 5 seasons)

While the bindings do take some inspiration from previous models, the design is all new construction. The heel and toe straps are each singular with the toes having a cup on the front. In addition to that

Basic Stats:

I’ve broken down these bindings into some basic stats on what they will do. They’re purely subjective, so take them with a grain of salt. However it’ll be a good jumping off point for you. It’s out of a total score of 5.

While the higher end models will give you more, this model will still take you places you’ve never been. If you’re just starting out, or you’re an intermediate level snowboarder. These bindings will definitely up your game.

Use the money you save on other gear, or better yet, buy another lift ticket.
