Ride EX Snowboard Bindings. Precise, Comfortable, And Epic.

The Ride EX Snowboard bindings are built with precision, of course if your familiar with Ride, you understand all or their bindings are build that way. However these bindings are a great mid range all mountain binding.

I’ve always been a huge fan of Ride, ever since I first rode on a spi, and learned about wedgie footbeds (Life Changing). If you’re an all mountain rider, who’s looking for new bindings but you always need money for lift tickets, These might be the perfect bindings for you.

Ride EX Stats

  • Flex: 3.5
  • Comfortability: 4 (The Canted Footbed Is Amazing)
  • Binding Adjustments: 4
  • Stance Adjustments: 3.5
  • Ratchet System: 4
  • Shock Absorbing: 4

Aggregate Score: 3.83

I don’t even know why I bother with these ratings for the Ride EX and other ride bindings. While the higher end bindings will give you some extra performance, you’d do really well to purchase their cheapest model for the style of shredding you do. I love ride, and they have some amazing quality in their bindings.

Ride Binding Basic Info

  • Colors: Black/White,Black/Midnight
  • Sizes: M,L,XL
  • Quick Release: No
  • FootBed: Wedgie (These are comfortable and fit the natural stance of your feet/ankle/knees/hips)
  • Feel: 4

All in all these are a great binding to purchase when you like to feel totally dialed in. I’ve always loved the ratchet/straps setup, and how you feel ‘locked’ in when you’re about to drop in.

I’m hoping to get a pair of these before my next trip out west. Currently I’m shredding on a GNU Riders Choice, and I need a pair of bindings that are less sensitive. I’m over 200lbs riding a board that’s open the shorter side, combine that with Magne-Traction and you’ve got something epic. However the sensitivity does need to be dialed back a bit.
